The UN Wants a ‘Final Solution’ for Israel

Even one Jewish state is too much for the world community as represented by the UN, which just allocated $1.3 billion to fund the Palestinian Authority campaign against Israel

The UN has finally thrown all pretense to the side and is launching what it has been warming up to do for several decades: Total war on Israel. Short of actual armed conflict, of course.  After all, the foundational principles of the UN, as per the UN Charter, are ‘international peace and security’, and the development of ‘friendly relations among nations based on respect for the principle of equal rights’.

In the Orwellian world of the UN, those principles have come to mean the exact opposite. Almost since its inception, the UN has done nothing but incite and warmonger against Israel with its countless false and incendiary resolutions condemning the Jewish state.

The UN recently signed a document with the Palestinian Authority (PA), led by Mahmoud Abbas, to donate $1.3 billion towards Arab legal campaigns against Israel and efforts that will facilitate the creation of a new Arab state, ‘Palestine’, on Jewish land – in addition to the already existing 22 Arab states spanning an area of around 14 million square kilometers.

According to the signed document, the U.N. will work to advise the Palestinian Authority on how to exploit “international accountability mechanisms” in order to hold Israel accountable for alleged violations of international law. This means that the UN will put all its weight behind the already ongoing Arab Lawfare against Israel.

The UN will also “strengthen its own advocacy on the impact of Israeli violations on Palestine’s development prospects including through joint activities that clearly communicate the effect that the occupation and breaches of international law have on the ability of Palestine to develop economically, socially, environmentally and politically…”

In plain English, this means that Israel is in for an intensification of the virulent anti-Israeli propaganda that already emanates from the no less than 22 UN agencies who co-signed the document with the PA, including UNESCO, UNRWA and WHO.  As part of this propaganda, the UN states that it intends to continue repeating the lie that Israel violates international law.

The Nazi master of propaganda, Joseph Goebbels, once said, “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it”. It is safe to say that he would have been proud of the UN.

The document does not mention that the PA is a de facto terrorist entity, which incites and warmongers against Israel, while financially rewarding its own citizens for murdering Jews. Such behavior, evidently, is deemed completely acceptable by the UN, which does not even bother to go through what was once considered the obligatory motions of at least paying lip service to the idea that the Arabs should desist from murdering Jews.

Never mind that those $1.3 billion could have been donated towards alleviating the real suffering of starving children in war-torn countries across the globe, or given to actual refugees who have nothing but the clothes on their backs – the UN steps over dead bodies, quite literally, in its untamable desire to destroy the state of Israel. For the UN, no price is too high – it is only taxpayer money, after all – and there is no such thing as stooping too low.

The generously funded attempt at lawfare is naturally not the only front on which the UN is battling Israel.

The cultural warfare against Israel has been ongoing for decades within the framework of UNESCO, a UN outfit, which ostensibly exists in order to protect national heritages, but has singled out Israel’s national heritage for destruction through fraud and defamation. In October 2016, UNESCO declared the Temple Mount – site of the two biblical temples – ‘a Muslim holy site of worship’ and mentioned it only by its Muslim names, the “Al-Aqsa Mosque/Al-Haram Al-Sharif”. Only six months later, UNESCO passed a resolution denying Israel any rights – legal or historical – to any part of Jerusalem with Israel being referred to throughout the resolution as ‘the Occupying Power’.

The recent economic warfare against Israel was launched in 2017, when the UN Human Rights Council issued a blacklist of Israeli companies operating beyond the so-called Green Line with the aim of declaring them illegal. Apparently, 150 companies operating in Judea and Samaria, East Jerusalem and the Golan Heights received letters from the UN threatening them that they would end up on the black list unless they stopped doing business there. The companies included the Israeli Egged bus company and several of Israel’s largest banks, as well as Coca-Cola, TripAdvisor, and Airbnb. The full list will reportedly be published in December.

The UN, quite literally, is aiding and abetting the PA on all fronts in its ill-concealed goal of eradicating the only Jewish state in the world. Because evidently, even one Jewish state is too much for the world community as represented by the UN.

  1. I am not surprised . The UN is
Anti-Semetic. We need to stop funding the UN. We need to move the UN to one of the Arab countries where It will make sense why they are against Israel.
