The World Throws Hissy Fits over Jerusalem

While Trump shined the light of truth and acknowledged reality, world leaders responded with cowardice and condemnation that only encouraged Muslim hatred and violence.

President Donald Trump’s acknowledgment of the reality of the status of Jerusalem – namely that it is the capital of Israel and has been such for 3,000 years – shone a light of truth on more than just the realities of the region.

It also dramatically illuminated the true colors of much of the world community, whose members reacted to the speech with hysterical hissy fits unworthy of preschoolers. It was especially revealing of the member states of the European Union that never cease to babble on about ‘human rights’, yet always stop short of including the rights of the Jewish people.

The speech naturally became an excuse for the adherents of the ‘religion of peace’ to show just how peaceful they really are. Muslims across Europe turned out to demonstrate against the acknowledgment of a contemporary and historical fact. Interestingly enough, this was less so in Israel, to the great disappointment of the international media, which outnumbered the actual Arab rioters.

That is what it apparently takes to get Muslims in the West to demonstrate. Not the rape and sexual enslavement of thousands of Yazidi children and women by Muslims fighting for ISIS in Syria and Iraq, while their husbands and fathers were tortured and murdered; Not the torture, murder and general oppression of Christians in the Middle East; Not even the murder of their own Muslim brethren in the Middle East or elsewhere. No, none of these affects them.

The manner in which the Muslim demonstrations in Europe took place is worth mentioning, especially because the leaders of the Western world and their sycophantic choir of media pundits would have us believe that the participants are all about ‘peace’.

In the Swedish city of Gothenburg, a synagogue was firebombed with Molotov cocktails, while Jewish teenagers were forced to hide in the basement.

In Malmö 200 adherents of the ‘religion of peace’ gathered for a demonstration, in which they yelled, “We have declared an intifada in Malmö. We want our freedom back. We are going to shoot the Jews”.

In London, a demonstration called by an amalgam of Muslim and Leftist organizations resounded with the war cry of, ”Khaybar Khaybar, ya yahud, Jaish Muhammad suf ya’ud’ ( Khaybar, Khaybar, O Jews, the army of Muhammad will return ), referring to Muhammed’s slaughter of native Jews in Khaybar in the year 628. It is a favorite slogan of many adherents of the religion of peace.

In Berlin, Muslims also torched stars of David while screaming the ‘Khaybar Khaybar’ jihadist chant. How very peaceful of them.

World leaders did nothing to dissuade Muslims from this kind of behavior. In fact, their actions more than encouraged it.

British Prime Minister Theresa May, herself not a great fan of reality — having referred to Islam numerous times as a ‘religion of peace’ — thought President Trump’s acknowledgment was ‘unhelpful’.

French President Emmanuel Macron decided to team up with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to try to persuade President Trump to reverse his decision on Jerusalem. (It makes sense that France, which is likely to become an Islamic state in the not too distant future, would be working together with Erdogan, a man who is so delusional that he sees himself as the caliph of a restored Ottoman empire, against Israel and the US).

Similarly, German Chancellor Angela Merkel released a statement voicing Germany’s dissatisfaction with Trump’s statement, “…because the status of Jerusalem is to be resolved in the framework of a two-state solution”.

Apparently, it does not occur to Macron or Merkel that the two state solution is much closer to being implemented in Europe than in the Middle East.

Jordan’s King Abdullah, however, probably took the prize, when he said that Trump’s statement could ‘fuel terrorism’ and ‘instability’ — in a region where Muslims are already frantically killing each other and everyone else in the name of the ‘peace’ of Islam.

Naturally, the UN Security Council convened for an emergency session, in which Trump’s decision was roundly condemned. In an Orwellian age, what could be more urgent than condemning the acknowledgement of reality?

Such condemnation, naturally, only serves as legitimization for the many Muslims who feel ‘humiliated’ or ‘victimized’ by Trump’s decision, and therefore need to take out their rage on anyone and everyone, but most preferably the Jews, as was so evident in the European demonstrations.

President Trump went ahead and switched a light on in a very dark room. Suddenly all those who prefer the lies to the truth were forced to come out and deal with the fact that their lies had lost their magic and that they no longer held any power. They realized that they could squirm and scream, but there was nothing they could do about it.

President Donald Trump deserves credit for shining the light of truth on the world and acknowledging reality. The rest of the world will simply have to learn to deal with it.
